Reminscent of the silent era, "Iota" is the powerful story of loss and rediscovered communication within a remote and voiceless family.

Since graduating with a first degree honours from the film course at Napier-Edinburgh, Simon has photographed (as D.O.P) a numbers pop promos, commercials and feature films with a preference for 35mm format.  He more recently won a Scottish Bafta for his photography on the short "Sex & Death" plus won the Royal Television Society award for his own directorial 35mm short "Fake".  He has vast experience with location photography as well as sound stage set pieces and has more recenty shot action and underwater photography.  His most recent feature film as D.O.P. was "The Last Great Wilderness", directed by David MacKenzie (Young Adam).
 
He's just compled a chain of 35mm/Anamorphic short tales and is affiliated wiht a number of planned feature productions lined up for 2004.  He's also a screenwriter and has a number of feature projects in development, two of which are optioned.  For more information visit simondennis.com.
